Full time · Hove, East Sussex
Entry-point role into the Branchwalkers crew. Hard graft, real training, clear progression to climber for the right person. Full-time, Hove-based.
About the role
Full detail below — the day-to-day shape of the role, the responsibilities, the qualifications we need you to hold (or be close to).
01 — The role
Every Branchwalkers climber starts as a groundsman. There's no rushing it, and there's no shortcut. This is the role where you learn the trade — knot work, rigging, chipping, site management, reading a cut from the ground — before you put a rope on and start climbing yourself.
We train. NPTC Level 2 Tree Climbing funded after six months on the crew who've shown up and put the work in. First aid, chipper ticket, manual handling — all paid. The only things you need to bring are reliability, decent fitness, and interest in the work.
