01 — The role
We're looking for a climber to sit at the sharp end of the domestic crew — mature garden specimens, council-side reductions, occasional sectional fells in tight spaces. Most of what we do is climbed, not machined, so this is a role for someone who rates themselves in a tree and enjoys the craft of a clean cut. You'll work with one or two groundsmen on most jobs, lead on method, and sign off the work when the site is clear. The crew is small, friendly, and non-political. We take care of our kit, our trees, and each other.
